Post Master's Certificate Programs
There are currently two Post Master's Certificate programs
being offered. There is a Post Master's Certificate in Nursing Education and a
Post Master's Certificate in the Family Nurse Practitioner program.
- Post Master's Certificate: Nursing
Education
A Post Master's Certificate is available to
students who hold a master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.
The purpose of this certificate program is to prepare nurses for teaching
positions in nursing in both academic and non-academic settings.
- Post Master's Certificate: Family Nurse
Practitioner
A Post-Master's certificate is available to
individuals who hold a graduate degree in nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
Nurse Practitioners who wish to broaden their education as a Family Nurse
Practitioner will have their previous educational preparation evaluated
according to credentials, education, and professional experience. Therefore,
the program curriculum is variable and individually determined.
